California Democrats formally bid adieu Saturday to ousted Gov. Gray Davis as new fissures emerged over who can lead the party back from the stinging defeat that installed Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger in the governor's office.
Despite repeated claims that the state party is united, internal divisions were clear at the annual convention in San Jose, as top Democrats looking to claim the mantle of leadership spent the weekend delivering thinly veiled assaults on each other.

Thankfully, the Democrats seem to have no ability at all to learn valuable lessons from political setbacks.

The question we must pose is how do we educate those who should know better and keep retruning these slugs to Sacramento?
Some in the media dabble in exposing the shenanigans, FRom time to time but much more needs to be done, imo.
