My family is in Germany. The thread is about the threat of a terrorist attack on Germany. You say "Good". You don't understand?
When it came time for Germany to throw in their lot with the US, they remained opposed.
No, they didn't. They are in Afghanistan as we speak. Yes or no? They invoked Chapter 5 of the NATO Charter and they participated in our operation in Afghanistan and they continue to do so. They continue to patrol the Horn of Africa with their navy in support of the war on terror.
Get your facts straight.

Hmmm. Maybe one could use this same argument to say it was good that America got attacked on 9/11 to get it off the fence about terrorism. We were attacked repeatedly by bin Laden pre-9/11 and did nothing. Our lackadaisical attitude towards getting tough on terror emboldened bin Laden.
