The International Criminal Court (ICC) is currently the first and only treaty based institution that can try various individuals for such crimes as genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. The creation of the ICC presents a special opportunity to bring to light the various crimes the Islamic Republic of Iran has committed against humanity. On January 8th, 2004 the executive of the Marze Por Gohar Party, Roozbeh Farahanipour hand delivered a letter to the president of ICC, Phillip Kirche.
Below you will find the contents of the letter that was delivered to the ICC president. Via Hand Delivery

Dear Judge Kriche:
My name is Roozbeh Farahanipour and I am the executive director of the Marze Por Gohar Party.
Our members and our legal team members have researched, documented and archived actions that constitute a crime under the mandate of the International Criminal Court.
I wish to be granted an audience with you to present what will constitute a prima facie case against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its officials. It is hoped that the Court will then proceed with the case.
I look forward to hearing from you soon on this very grave matter.
Very Sincerely Yours,
Long Live IRAN Roozbeh Farahanipour Executive Director of Marze Por Gohar Party Iranians for a secular republic 01/08/2004 www.marzeporgohar.org
