There's no use talking sense to some of these people. They'd rather keep the current disaster than support the first President who has ever sought to solve it.

The Fed IS enforcing the laws but the problem overwhelms the resources. If the states do not line up in support of enforcing the laws then it can't be done. You have no idea how much a lot of states economic health is tied up in this issue.

Get Congress to fund it.

You can pass a law to make pi equal to three and another that mandates that the tides stop coming in, but if you don't adequately fund it, you wasted your time passing a law--or congratulating yourself for being tough on criminals.
