AUBURN -- Five environmental groups sued Placer County on Friday, charging that the county's approval last month of the Martis Valley Community Plan Update violates environmental and planning laws. The suit was filed in Placer Superior Court by Sierra Watch, the lead plaintiff, and by the League to Save Lake Tahoe, the Mountain Area Preservation Foundation, the Planning and Conservation League and the Sierra Club.

calls for more than 6,000 new homes, commercial development and eventual expansion of Highway 267 from two lanes to four lanes. I thought everyone was losing their jobs and leaving California...

Oh my gosh! The county violated the soviet socialist five year plan. How distressing to elevate the needs of women, children and babies over slugs, rats and cockroaches. Why, these county supervisors need to be sent to the gulag re-education camps. Maybe hang a few.
Al Gore needs to be sent to read passages from "Mein Planet" to get the group-think right.
Maybe the fascist corpse Bruce Babbitt can make an emergency trip to Tahoe to manage the Wildlands Project. He can put out a call to his ELF buddies to blow up a few houses and get these people straightened out. It's for the bugs, you know.
We need to get a judge to tell these people that their property exists only to create federal and state nature preserves. The judge can quote from Hitler and the Reich minister of agriculture and tell them that their property must be managed for the common good, not for individuals.

To hell with the environment!Growth and progress are what matters and the environmental movement is a roadblock to freedom and prosperity.
