You may have seen this before, but it has some telling info about the eventual outcomes of those 'land trusts'.
Property Rights is not just a Western problem No matter what you put into the documents detailing your options under the trust, you don't have enough money to take them on and win in court. You contribute to their legal bills out of the same pocket yours do -- yours -- because of the tax laws and the way the government aids and abets their positions.
brityank, Thanks for that link, it was a real eye-opener! You should consider re-posting that thread again.

Thanks, I have that bookmarked now. Think I may send it out through the email network as well.
Great link brityank. "You heard it first on FReerepublic!"
I read this article in the Post this morning. I've been thinking and reading on it since then. I agree with the poster above that this is just for public consumption or possibly just to be sure the IRS [strong-arm for the international bankers/Federal Reserve] is getting the last penny due the bankers from the NC, because the IRS investigating the NC is like the pot calling the kettle black. They are peas in a pod, hand and glove, both sharing the same master. The NC is one of the FED's biggest assets. They might get a wrist-slapping. I would be surprised if it were otherwise. I will have more to say after I get some sleep.
Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the earth!
http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Isa/5/8.html Thomas Jefferson once said:
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies . . . If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] . . . ***will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered . . . The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs." -- Thomas Jefferson -- The Debate Over The Recharter Of The Bank Bill, (1809)
***The IRS/Federal Reserve is the issue behind the issue.
On a side note....I ran across a pretty wild article written by Dave Foreman of the Wildlands Project. Didn't know if you all had seen it:
