I don't get it. Bush is driven by a puppetmaster, he's in bed with every company in the world, he's driven by polls. Which is it? The man KNEW the response. He KNEW it in 1999, he KNEW it in 2001 when he withdrew it after 9/11 and he KNEW it days before his speech because it was leaked and talked about endlessly by every serious conservative in the country.

He KNEW it would not be liked by people in his party. Maybe -- just MAYBE the man sticks to what he believes in and actually has his OWN principles.

All I know is on the issue of his proposal eventually granting Illegal Invaders amnesty, the President has blundered big-time...But speaking of being "in bed," what's the deal with him and Vincente Fox??
