Shephard Smith said they have to get all their I's dotted and T's crossed before they report this breaking news.

I don't know why they'd do such a thing. They usually sound the gong for just about anything.

They sure do and it drives me nuts! Everything is breaking news to them. That's one of my main beefs with Fox! However, this IS breaking news for a change. Gets rid of Michael Jackson for at least a few minutes!

Not to mention over and OVER and OVER again! They should have a rule that it's a "News Alert" only once. After all, by definition, "Breaking News" can only be "breaking" once, right???
