Fox cut away from Harris to report on MJ, then excitedly said that she had announced her run for Bob Graham's Senate seat. When they cut back to Harris, they found out that she was going to run for senate, all right, but not this year.
If they'd stayed with Harris, we would've heard her entire speech.

I just posted a hypothesis as to why Bush did what he did today. If asking questions is santimonious, then that's a new definition of the word I've hitherbefore been unfamiliar with.

Well considering the fact that Fox was the only news station to cover Harris at all. I think it's unfair to say that Fox is all MJ. When it's clearly not. It also did a much better job of pointing out what a clown MJ is for showboating in front of the court house. While the other two cablenews channels just fawned over MJ like he was some messiah.

The DUmmies are convinced this is payback for the 300 protesters who showed up for the wreath laying at the MLK grave today.
BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!
How delusional can you get.

Do you think the heads of those opposed to Bush on immigration and said they were going to sit home, etc. are about to explode?

They never "left home".........LOL.
The ones I've seen so far today keep saying he only did this to divert THEIR attention from that. *Sigh*

"In a move which some critics say undermines Congress's constitutional oversight of the president's judicial nomination powers, President Bush today appointed conservative Judge Charles Pickering to the federal appeals court. The rare recess appointment came over the objections of minority and civil rights groups, who said that Pickering is insentitive to minority concerns and threatens fundamental civil liberties." Wow!...That was GOOD!...What's the frequency, Kenneth?...you're downright scary with that. Are you related some way to fidel rather??

The DUmmies are convinced this is payback for the 300 protesters who showed up for the wreath laying at the MLK grave todayIt was. George called me up and asked my opinion on how to get even with the protestors. I first suggested either squirting them down with firehoses or shipping them to Guantanamo. I even ran the idea of instituting a poll tax. I thought about suggesting that he sell them into slavery, but decided that Howard Dean would never go for that.
And then it dawned on me....Pickering...

If I might jump in here Kantian.......
Your first post was rather coarse, and your second one was to assume that the President did this for dark, political ulterior motives.....
You shouldn't be surprised at the negative reaction. Can't you just be..........happy?

Tempest, just wait for tonight. See what Greta covers. It'll be wall to wall MJ. Then wait for the weekend. You'll have Rita Cosby breathlessly wheezing though exclusive reports from her shpecial sources from the MJ camp for hours on end. Add that onto Geraldo's exclusive reports from his special sources inside the MJ camp for hours on end, then get back to me.
