I have not been "UNaccomidating to the needs of those less fortunate than" myself. I have ACTUALLY treated them as equals and subjected them to having a little harmless comedy directed at them. (ala How did Helen Keller break her arm? Reading a STOP sign at 60 mph! OLD JOKE)
A general rule of civilized society is that "inferiors" should not be the butt of jokes. If you are unwilling to poke some fun at a group of people, it is bucause YOU feel that they are inferior.
