I know. Lets have a class excercise where we re-enact history so everyone can get a perspective. Lets have divide them up into Christians and Muslims, then let the Muslims invade the Christian territory and kill all the ones that won't convert then let the Christian ones rise up and beat back the Muslims.

Guess that wouldn't work because we all know the crusades were just them mean ol Christians picking on the religion of peace, kinda like today...... [/sarcasm off]

The Crusades are fascinating to study. Actually, Christians won (and only margianlly at that) only one of them.

There were a total of seven and the main goal was to secure permanent access to Jeruselum.

Eventually, the Pope was able to buy off the Muslims and Christians were allowed to pay pilgramage to Jeruselum and Bethlehem.
