***Plenty of fine people have panic attacks and take stuff to sleep.

But they shouldn't be president, and the sensible ones wouldn't want to.***

I was certainly NOT criticizing people who have panic attacks or take stuff to sleep; I've needed medication to cope with various stresses in my life.

I WAS criticizing his "need" to share that personal information with the general public. And from the circumstances quoted--that the panic attack happened when the governor died and he was going to be governor--he certainly should NOT be president!

I want a President making cool-calm decisions under the most difficult of times, not someone who is hyper-ventilating in a paper bag....

If Dean is willing to tell the world about his panic attacks and related problems, I can only wonder what he
isn't disclosing. It's possible he is sandbagging himself as he gets closer to a possible successful run as the dem candidate, having a divided mind as to his ability to carry off not only the presidential run, but (hahahaha) the presidency.
In other words, I think his fears are speaking for him.
