Someone who is not a clear known conservative will fail to ignite grassroots energy. As a result the turnout will be down. Hillary OTOH generates liberal excitement for some strange reason. A "nice" candidate that doesnt fight tooth and nail will be KO'ed by Hillary and the slime machine.

Condi would likely be an electoral disaster.

The whole concept reeks of the kind of 'cute' folly the dems tried in Texas in 2002 - their "dream team" of nice diverse candidates ... all of whom went down in flames because people are smarter than that, voting the candidate and not the cover. Now the Texas Dems have 0 out of 29 satewide offices.
