Absolutely! She is not conservative in many of her views. She would be moving the Republicans more toward the Democrats than anyone.
I must say though that, as far as I know, her Character in impeccable. She is from my area..

Running against Hillary in 2008, any Republican or 3rd party conservative who crashed the election would have to be considered forever a traitor. And I'm someone who was brought up on and worked professionally on the right (I still think the USA should have backed D'Aubission over Duarte in El Salvador in 1984)! We simply cannot allow Hillary to be President.
