Bush Gives Country Away

I do agree with you on your assertion regarding "modern Republicans" but do disagree your statement "with desperate to appear respectable, "politically correct," I do believe that this would apply to some "modern" Republicans but I do believe that for many, their motives are more sinister.

We do not really have a disagreement. Yes, certainly, many of them are toadies for international interests, business and other, such as those which would put concerns for profit or an unstated Leftist ideology, ahead of any loyalty to their own people. But they, as a group, spend a lot of time making sure that they are acceptable to the followers of Gordon Allport, for example--see my Myths & Myth Makers In American "Higher" Education.

They will sell their country out, but they would become incontinent if they were ever accused of being "nativist." But I admit that that is not the reason for their betrayal, just one of the symptoms of the mindset that makes it so easy for them.
