I think you may be confused about this list. They aren't talking about YOUR dog, they're talking about the breed. But you already knew that, and didn't want to admit it.

Dobies are very gentle dogs, believe it or not. I've never met one that was immediately vicious, and the aggressive ones all were trained police dogs. And even they were friendly when not on guard.
Dobies got a lot of bad press from Hollywierd, and the breed suffered from backyard inbreeders. The same thing happened to Rotties and Pits, then Dalmatians (thank-you, Disney Productions!).
