I have already told the puppy that, in our pack, he is Omega Dog.

Huskies require a strong "Alpha" owner. I hear Algore has 2.

My Dad was stationed in Alaska in the 1950's. Many of his Air Force buddies got Husky puppies. Huskies, as puppies, are lovable balls of fur. But then they grow up.
Huskies were basically bred to fight polar bears and consequently don't make good apartment pets. The same people who had bought puppies were desperate to get rid of them within a few months.

Huskies are also hyperactive and as dumb as a box of rocks.
They have an attention span of approximately 2 seconds.

I have had huskies for years and many times when I go out to feed them they will immediately drop on their backs and have me pet their bellies. I guess they think me the Alpha male. They live in my back yard and do not use their dogs houses, unless it rains. In fact, when it gets cold they always sleep in the snow. My dogs may bark mean, but they are far from dangerous.
I have had German Spepherds in the past, who I would consider as much more dangerous. Of course, the scariest dog I have dealt with was a 175-200 lb Malamute. The damn thing was one step from a wolf with an attitude of a pitbull. I am sure it could waste just about any pit bull and any unarmed person.
