She's 20.5 inches at the shoulder (measured at her last agility trial) and 42 pounds.
I don't see how your Lab can be much smaller and still be a Lab! Shelley-Dog is the "Vest-Pocket Lab" - she is English-bred (conformation) on her sire's side and Canadian-bred (field trial) on her dam's. Her size is all her dad's - the English Labs do tend to be smaller. Here she is with a "normal" American Lab:

BTW, she's not really herring-gutted - her rib cage is well-sprung, she's just VERY lightweight for a Lab, by the standard she's about 10 pounds underweight. We keep her skinny because she's competing in agility, and also because we love to hear the vets go gaga - "She's so beautiful - she's not too fat - she's just right!" Of course it takes tremendous self-control, because she hangs around and insists that she's starving .. .
