You can't argue with Philly/McNabb bashers. They are always right and know everything.

Like this comment from rintense,
Nevermind other great QBs like Manning and McNair.

McNair is a fine QB. Manning, please refresh my memory on the number of Super Bowls he has won. Until this year, I believe he has won NO playoff games. Correct? As in Zero, Zilch, Nada, Goosegg. Let's see how the gifted Peyton does with Bellichick's defense breathing down his neck every snap. As for the Chiefs in the playoff's, they couldn't even stop a pee-wee team, so spare me the Manning worship.

Or how bout this gem from Mr Mojo
Why is McNabb's career "amazing"? Let's see him lead his overrated peace-of-sh/t-of-a-team to a victory in the Big Dance first. ....

I believe Mr Mojo is from Washington State. Mr Mojo, can you tell me how many Super Bowls and playoff games the Seahacks have won? Please tell me because NFL.COM doesn't have them listed as a winner of the Lombardi trophy and I'd hate to have to tell Paul Tagliabue that the NFL made a mistake. So STHU.

And again from rintense about Mike Vick. When Vick wins something, please get back to me. Last year the mighty Vick and the Falcons were made to look like a high school team by the overrated McNabb and the lousy Eagles, or did you forget that?

Brett Favre is a great QB, but he makes dumb decisions and bad throws all the time. Hit him 4 or 5 times and sack him twice and he throws up balloons all the time. It's what he did on Sunday and Jimmy Johnson knew it. So did Brian Dawkins

4th and 26. How bout this. Green Bay defense bit on a look left. McNabb threw the ball the only place Mitchell had a chance to catch it and get the first down. And that's just what happened. How about a perfectly executed play by the Eagles offense, instead of making excuses for the vaunted and Destined Green Bay Packers. They got the pants fooled right off them.

Uncbob, you are absolutely correct about Randall. Had Doug Scovill, the Eagles QB coach not died during the season, (88 or 89) Randall's career and the Eagles Super Bowl quests may have had a far different outcome. Buddy Ryan was a jackass. Great defensive co-ordinator, great motivator and a player's coach. But a cluess jackass nonetheless.

If the Eagles win or loose the Super Bowl or even get there does not affect me either way. But let's be real here, some of you guys are just bashing Philly and McNabb because it's stylish.

And one last thing you bashers like to bring up. Throwing snow balls at Santa Claus. Happened at Franklin Field in 67 or 68. The guy was a skinny nitwit, making a bigger ass out of himself than he already was. He deserved it. And until all you bashers let us know your "wisdom" and what's going on with the Philly fans, I suggest you make your comments from actual experience, rather than what ESPN says or what your second cousin twice removed who was in Philly once said.

Flame away.

None, Just lIke D.McDrabb...Both Manning, and McDrabb are going home after Sunday, so that point is kind of moot....

Since when has winning a SB been the measure of a great QB? Obviously you've never heard of Dan Marino. Manning has won the same number SBs that McNair AND McNabb has- none. Unlike McNabb, Manning has shown steady improvement in his tenure in the NFL. And I admire the hell out of Steve McNair because the man plays hurt almost all the time and rarely complains.

But what you fail to address, is that (like Rush has said) McNabb unfairly gets all the credit for Philly's success. Philly's defense has made them what they are. But you wouldn't know that by listening to NFL pundits. At least with teams like the Chiefs, Pats, Colts and Titans, the praise is spread equally among the entire team. And speaking of the Pats, wouldn't you agree that they've been the NFLs best kept secret? I mean really. How many non-die hard Pats fans knew this team was 14-2? Now tell me, other than being in opposing conferences, how is it that Tom Brady doesn't get to the Pro Bowl, but McNabb does?

As for being a Philly/McNabb basher, I am neither. Like everyone else on this forum, I have favorite teams, and teams I dislike. Philly is on neither list for me. So keep trying to turn this into a 'everyone hates Philly/McNabb' or 'its stylish to hate McNabb' argument all you want. Anyone who follows the NFL ardently knows that your crying is just that- crying.

Its nice to see you judge individuals by one game. If that's the case, then McNabb truly sucks, because I can give you at least 4 this year and several last year where he looked like a junior college player. You are obviously so entranced in your love of the Eagles that you can't even see objectively that McNabb is not the QB savior of this league, as he has been made out to be by so many. Nor is he the reason Philly has done so well. If I feel for anyone, it's the Eagles D, who doesn't get enough credit because of McNabb. Hell, I can admit I'm a Lions fan, but I can also know when to say they suck, who sucks, and why they suck.

As for Vick, he was the flavor of the week last year. He got hurt ( as his style of play will dictate), and McNabb became the next one to tout. Does the NFL play favorites? Hell yes. Anyone who knows anything about Brett Favre knows that NFL pundits think he's a God, perhaps at the behest of the other Pakcers players. But Brett has over the years compiled the stats and record to back up some of the idol worship (and I am the farthest thing from a Favre fan).
