I agree the Panthers have a good shot. They have a good running game which is Philly's Achilles (nice rhyme, huh?)

However, Carolina cannot repeat the comedy of errors they displayed vs. the Rams. They got away with that because Martz played not to lose.

McNabb is a good QB but not great. He and the Eagles were lucky to win that game against the Pack, they were outplayed for the entire game. McNabb can pull off some impressive scramble runs and throws, but is not a consistent passer. He is vulnerable to the blitz and will make ill-advised throws or fumble when hurried. I predict if Carolina wins it will be Julius Peppers making a big play or two against McNabb.

I agree that McNabb is good, but not great. This whole fascination with the success of black QB's should've ended in '87, when the Doug Williams-led Redskins annihilated the Broncos in the Super Bowl. A lot of people seem to forget that, though.

Yep, Carolina played very sloppy ball last week, especially in regard to penalties. They can't repeat that performance and expect to come out on top in Philly. The O-line was put through the ringer this week, I suspect.
