I hope the incorporate a 30 second delay into the program. They're going to need it to bleep out all the John F****** Kerry's.

Good luck to Franken
Anybody else think it's strange his book outsold O'Reilly's?

This scheme is as airworthy as a lead balloon.
I'm *so* glad to see Liberals wasting their money on this.

"Dead-air" Franken. I wonder how much of a discount the advertisers are getting to be associated with this show?

"Challenge"?? Do those fruitcakes think that Limbaugh listeners are going to SWITCH? Hahahaha!

his rival Rush Limbaugh, which Franken described as "non-guested confrontation."
Actually, in this instance Franken is spot on - Rush does not do well at all in a one-on-one debate.

I don't even give him 6 months. He'll flop immediately because he has nothing to say!
To: Dr. Scarpetta
Sure, he says he'll take calls from opposition. He'll have the 'callers' planted because there's no way he can withstand a debate from a conservative. The man is full of lies and humorless.

I always thought of Franken as one of the unfunny second-tier crew on SNL.
He looks funny, but that was about it.
He may very well "alter the political landscape" but I wouldn't be surprised
if it is in ways the Left can't fathom.

In an interview, Franken said the format of the show was still evolving, but he said "When you've gone over something as many times as I have, certain questions get answered....Others spring up....Your mind plays tricks on you....YOU PLAY TRICKS BACK.....it's like unravelling a big cable knit sweater that someone keeps knitting......and knitting......and knitting......and knitting......and knitting......and knitting...and...."

I'm sure his show will be nothing more than an orgy of comedy and emotion with very little substance.
Only those with an intellect that of a Sasquatch will tune in.

"I'll ask him advice: how he approaches a show, how he frames an issue. If it doesn't happen it will be very understandably because he won't take my call," Franken said. Rush: "Al, just be yourself. I'll pound you silly in your timeslot"

Franken said he planned to use a mix of interviews, calls from listeners and scripted comedy.
You may want to script those interviews and calls too, Al.
This is not an ideology that can withstand several hours a day of caller scrutiny where their goofball notions can be shot down by any truck driver with a cell phone.

I'll bet that outside of New York, DC, San Francisco, LA, and Boston, no markets will even be interested in picking up this show, if it ever happens at all.
