Former Gov. Ronnie Musgrove will teach history and political science classes to undergraduate students at the University of Mississippi starting this semester, he told The Associated Press Tuesday.
Minutes after watching his successor take the oath of office, the Democrat said he looks forward to working at his alma mater.

Ole Miss gets Musgrove and gets rid of Colonel Reb in the span of one year. Is that a fair trade?

To be for one team over another on the playing field
is one thing but this is a little over the top.
To say your are glad he went to Ole Miss.
Couldn't you have shown some respect and at
least said "I wish he had gone to Miss State.

Ronnie as 'Washington lobbyist' would be a rich irony!
BTW, I wonder what Ronnie's salary will be at UM? It should become a matter of public record soon.
I also wonder if Ronnie will pull a Maya Angelou and pull six figures for teaching one class for one semester every year?

Ronnie as 'Washington lobbyist' would be a rich irony! You mean "Washington Lobbyist" isn't Barbour's first name? After watching those Muskrat commercials, the news, etc. etc., I could've swore his full name was Washington Lobbyist Haley Barbour.

True, but our pal AFG is still there!
Q: BTW, do you know what the difference between Ronnie and me is? A: I'm more qualified to teach political science at Ole Miss. (okay, that's not the ONLY difference.)

Oh, my goodness! I forgot AFG is there!
Watch your '6', AFG!
Please feel free to post any observations you might have of his time there. ;o)
(okay, that's not the ONLY difference.)
I should say not! You're MUCH better looking. ;o)

You are both right! Let's send him to Bama! That should make us all happy!
To: 4everontheRight
As a Bama alum, I must say I resent that! Bama is already neck deep in good-for-nothing Democratic professors. We certainly don't need to import any more from MS. :-)

(okay, that's not the ONLY difference.) I'm also not divorced, and my accent is not nearly as funny as his.
(Y'know, dare I say it? I feel kind of bad making so much fun of Ronnie on this thread. He really wasn't THAT bad of a governor, and he seems like a nice enough guy. I mean, he's not Cliff Finch or anything.)
