What about guys like my brothers? They've owned a small curb and gutter concrete business for years in Tulsa and illegals have all but put them out of business. They're trying to make an honest living doing concrete work but the illegals are able to underbid them because they don't bother with such things as paying taxes or Worker's Comp. An honest American business can't compete when the deck is stacked against them. None of you "it's all about cheap fruit" people will ever address what illegals are doing to trades like concrete work, carpentry, drywall and other construction jobs. There are plenty of Americans right now who can't find a job in these trades, in lots of areas of the country, because the illegals are getting all the work.

Maybe you don't know any blue-collar workers who are being affected by the illegal invasion, but I do. It's not just about "cheap fruit". It's about American blue-collar workers being impoverished by cheap illegal workers. And the American taxpayers (the ones left working anyway) are taking a double hit. We get to pay for the illegals' families' medical care, food stamps, gov. housing and utilities and we also get to take care of the Americans' families when they are put out of work by these illegals.

They can spend all their money to retrain and get jobs as programmers or engineers. That's the AMERICAN way!

Maybe they should start a pharmacuetical company in Canada. Make bootleg drugs and import them to the U.S. If it's okay to import bootleg mexican laborers, then it's okay to import bootleg viagra, eh?
