What he and many others are failing to see that within 30 years we will be in a similar gold war situation with the EU. The EU is NOT an economic alliance it is a confederation to challenge US dominance and influence both economic and military. The United States cannot sit by and end up in that situation and still be fighting Middle Eastern terrorism.
