A Plan for the peaceful removal of the Islamic Regime of Iran

Nice dream, but there will never be a peaceful removal of an islamic regime, ever.

If the people of Iran truely want freedom and the removal of the isalmic regime they will have to fight for that freedom. To keep that freedom they will have to throw off islam, because freedom and islam can not co-exist.

How can they? Didn't I read somewhere that all of their weapons have been taken away? And the major dissidents were jailed? I pray the Persian people succeed however!

I have to agree. The elections in Iran has been embarrassing for the pro-IRI forces, for the most part, but the Guardian Council just dumps anything it doesn't approve of. It even stripped the presidency of some powers when the current (allegedly) reform minded president was elected but before he took office -- a move that was unconstitutional, even under that phony constitution. And of course, female candidates for the presidency have never been placed on the ballot, the excuse being "there's no provision for female candidates."
