Actually, if that much force is necessary to repel the rapist husband, then so be it. My only problem with the deacon's short, snide answer was that he was making a leap to equate "commensurate" or proportional force with killing.

Were I the the intended victim of the assault, the aggressor would have one chance to back off or he would be dead.
