The Supreme Court yesterday refused to hear an appeal challenging the government's right to keep secret the names of hundreds of mostly Muslim and Arab-American detainees held by federal authorities in the wake of the September 11 attacks.
The justices, without comment, declined to hear an appeal by the Washington, D.C.-based Center for National Security Studies, which sought through a lawsuit against the Justice Department to force the government to release the names and other information about those being detained, including where they were being held.

This represents a significant political victory for President Bush and sends a message to terrorists they can run, but they can't hide in the United States.
Finally, a right decision from the USSC.
There was a congressional reprimand floating last week directed at the USSC regarding not to use European Law as a precedent for American rulings and appellate reviews.
We may be getting somewhere finally with this liberal oligarchy.
