I have NEVER had a problem taking ephedra based herbal pills. Yes I do take them for weight control and they work. I don't ever go over the dosage recommendations which is what that ball player did when he died. I don't need government telling me that ephedra is so awful for me when alcohol is still legal and so are cigarettes. Still waiting for chemotherapy to be banned since my father died from wasting disease caused by chemo.

I just love the nanny state government :(

Don't give the pinheads at the FDA any ideas. This ephedra witch-hunt reeks of paper pushers looking to justify their jobs. Ye Gods, things like vitamin B and aspirin kill more people every year than ephedra.

Many consumers are ignoring that advice. There has been a run on remaining ephedra supplements since FDA's warning two weeks ago, even though studies show ephedra helps people lose only a few pounds more than dieting alone.

Yep, I just received a six month supply on Friday. I might place another order before they run out.

But some scientists note that synephrine can increase blood pressure and constrict blood vessels, as ephedra does, and question whether using it with caffeine could worsen those effects the way taking ephedra with caffeine does.

Anything that can boost my blood pressure even a little bit is good. I feel like hell when my blood pressure hovers around 95/48. Not to mention low blood pressure makes standing up quickly, dangerous.
