The SCOTUS doesn't have the balls to take "under God" out of the pledge.
Wanna bet?

If they take it out, I would suggest someone sneeze at the end of the pledge. "God Bless You" is appropriate for those who wish to say it. What are they going to do...punish all the students?? Everyday?? For all the years they are in school?
This is a free speech issue first. No one is forced to say it.

I just know that I will continue to say the phrase regardless of the outcome of this case. Ditto here! And I think my FREE SPEECH right would be abridged, were I forbidden to say it.
Visit your local Boy Scout chapter, where the pledge of allegiance is said at the beginning of every meeting, and where the phrase "under God" will not be taken out of it.
And should some teacher make an issue of "separation"--a word which does not appear in the First Amendment, the Amendment which is being construed in Newdow's bogus case--then the student should come back with their RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH, and call attention to the fact that that teacher is ANTI-CONSTITUTION.
