Why do we need good relations with Mexico? I don't see them as having much of anything to offer us. They certainly offer nothing in the way of security of the border anyway. What do they have that we need so much as to cause us to cater to them? And will we get it?

-- fruits, vegatables, not very mad cows (though some of our bulls get a bit angry on sunday afternoons) and low cost labor for starts. Also, a good percentage of the US oild and gas supply, silver, gold, copper, lead...

I can think of two things with out much of an effort: Oil and cheap labor.
