Can you shed some light on a topic I cannot understand?

We have a republican party and we have a democrat party. When someone refers to a republican ideal it's republican.

When a democrat is the issue with an ideal or comment it is a democratic party or goal, not a democrat goal.

This is an issue of grammar and I have yet to figure out why we have democratic leaders in the democrat party and republican leaders in the republican party.

We don't have a republicanic party do we?

Sorry to be off topic and this can go to chat if punishment be metted.

Well, I don't know about a republicanic party, but, for the most part, we definitely have a Democrat press.
