Quote of the day: From the President's radio address on Saturday:
As the year 2004 begins, America's economy is strong and getting stronger. More Americans than ever own their own homes. More businesses are investing. More manufacturers are seeing increased activity than at any time in the last 20 years. Stock market wealth has increased by more than $3 trillion over the past year. And over the past five months, more than a quarter-million Americans started work at new jobs. In December, the unemployment rate fell to 5.7 percent, from a high of 6.3 percent last June. [snip]
In my budget for the upcoming fiscal year, I will call on Congress to make permanent all the tax relief we have delivered to the American people and our nation's small businesses. If Congress fails to act, this tax relief will disappear and millions of American families and small businesses would see tax hikes starting in 2005. For the sake of our economic expansion, and for the sake of millions of Americans who depend on small businesses for their jobs, we need Congress to act to make tax relief permanent. [snip]
We must continue to take other steps to promote growth and job creation throughout our economy. We must promote free and fair trade, reform our class action system, and help businesses and their employees address the problem of rising health care costs.

Actually, I usually post the thread earlier than this. Folks have told me that they appreciate it when I can post it during the day as they have trouble getting here in the evening. (Where IS ODC_GIRL?!!!)
I've been sitting here, waiting, waiting (tapping fingers on desk, drinking waaaaaay too much coffee) for the pictures to show up on Yahoo, AP and Reuters.
They are still an hour behind with posting the new ones.
I'll be posting the news as they come up!

What a nice early surprise! Guess clearing out the dishwasher and folding clothes will have to wait! :-)
To all you computer experts:
I got a "funny" Priceless picture in my e-mail today--you'd all love it but I don't know how to get it posted here. If you could help, would you send me a private message? I'm thinking I could e-mail it to you and then you could post it. I will NOT 'bother' you with more e-mails--this one has Hillary on it. (that's all I'm saying!)

Welcome. Yup, top ten.
I'm getting a fresh cup of coffee, and will check for new photos. I just saw the President speaking on Fox News, so new pictures should show up SOON.
Sheesh, don't they know I need to get these pictures up NOW?

Just watched GW's joint press conference with Fox. Talked a lot about the immmigration proposal. Said flat out - he doesn't believe in amnesty - we're a nation of laws, he expects these workers to be going back to their home countries and make a living there after their work permits expire. Sounded good to me.
Thanks for posting

Any NJ Bush Supporters out there?
I'm looking for any Garden Staters who'd want to help on a new site I'm designing
http://nj.bushblog.us. Thanks
To: TruthNtegrity
They don't understand our need for a Sanity Fix. I think he did a good job answering the questions. Pres. Bush invited Pres. Fox and his wife to their ranch March 5-6 (I think). So they must still be friends.
THANKS for your hard work putting the pictures up!

I've got to ask for credit, after all this is absolutely the FIRST TIME in all the years I've been at this website, that I have been FIRST on this thread. Woohoo!
Never happened before and probably won't ever happen again.
What do I get for this glorious achievement?
Thanks for posting the dose Truthy. I know you are usually early, but it sorta takes the breath away sometimes, it is a surprise when it pops up. And I don't know the schedule when you are going to be posting as opposed to other people.

Just heard on FOX that the Treasury is starting a "probe" of O'Neill to see how he got all the info. he quoted in the book. Tee-hee--hope he enjoys the probing!
Pres. Bush was asked about the book and as you would expect from him, was very gracious, saying that he and O'Neill had worked together in some tough times. . . What a forgiving guy.

You get to be first!
The reward is a secret but when someone knocks at your door tomorrow, don't be surprised.
Okay, I can't do it. I have to tell the truth.
You get the honor of being the first poster and that's it.
Unless you are McLynnan, in which case, you get to send me $10 for letting you be first!

You know why new pictures haven't been posted? Because you didn't tell me you were doing The Dose early so I could be first! I'll let it slide one last time since these pictures are so good. Thanks : )
