Hmm. Tell you what, I'll put you up in a shack in a valley prone to beaver dams on one condition--you have to wear this invisible fence collar that prevents you from leaving.

Seriously, I've known several occasions in which DNR types have had to dynamite not only the dams, but the lodges or holes ( if they're bank beaver ) because of extensive damage occurring to the local ecosystem.
