Oh B.S.! I was born and raised in California and I left when I was almost 30 because of the horrendous situation that existed AT THAT TIME! (and it has gotten much, much worse). I now life in Northern Illinois. I can tell you for a fact that the town of Cicero, Illinois is just as bad as most all of the towns in California that have gone to hell because of illegals. Cicero, Illinois is a MEXICAN town, dominated by Mexicans, where the only time the English language is spoken is when an American makes a wrong turn and ends up there, and is pleading for his or her life. The illegal Mexican population of the Chicago area is ENORMOUS! The Mexican flag is for more common that the American flag in many, many towns here. It is horrendous. So don't tell me only Californians can relate to the issue. I've lived in both places, and the two are comparable in many respects.

That's a load of crap.

I guess the legal section of the paper here loaded down with illegal's that have committed every type of crime from DWI to Murder is just made up?
I guess the people killed every year on the highways here in the Mid-Columbia by the illegals are not really dead.

It's getting so almost half of the students of the Pasco School District are illegal and now the State is giving them In-State tution to the colleges.

As for the enforcement of the immigration laws in this area. When I was a Police Officer here, we checked everyone.
Then Border Patrol would come by once a week or sooner depending upon the amount of people we had rounded up.

Was it hard for us to do? NO! It's only the lazy and the liberals that don't want to enforce the laws.

It's bad everywhere pal. And it's only going to get worst with the Bush Plan.

As for Bush. I will not be voting for him again.

That has to be the most ignorant posting I've ever read on FR. I live in Florida and we are impacted by Mexicans, Jamaicans, Haitians and many other islands. If you think Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and Florida have not felt the impact of the illegals, then you are clueless.
