Less than a year before he entered the race for the Democratic nomination for president, Gen. Wesley K. Clark said that he believed there was a connection between the Iraqi government and Al Qaeda. Pingarooni.

it does make it harder for him to criticize Bush, doesn't it?Rational people would think so.......but the 9 simpletons running for the gimmies operate in wonderland and whatever they say today means whatever they said yesterday or whatever they say tomorrow. Their constituents don't care they just hate GW and the GOP.

"Sheila Jackson Lee's?"
I think you mean Carol Mosley Braun's. There's a big difference between the two: Carol doesn't believe that man has landed on mars.

General Clark had known Ms. Swett and her husband, Richard N. Swett, a former congressman and ambassador to Denmark Richard N. Swett -- ROFL! I've never seen anyone use his full name before.
Yes, ladies and gentleman, "Richard N." is generally known as "Dick".

Well, well, well -- it does make it harder for him to criticize Bush, doesn't it? No it doesn't. He's a hypocrite. Hypocrites don't worry about the truth...and they have no shame.

There might be more to this than we all think. NYTimes would never have information on a leading Dem candidate unless they had the "Godfather" (Clinton) of the Dem party's permission.
Clinton is trying to build up Clark right now but Clinton will destroy every Dem candidate before the election.

"Certainly there's a connection between Iraq and Al Qaeda," he said in 2002. In those remarks, he said, he was trying to explain that based on his knowledge of how the intelligence community works, low-level contacts almost certainly existed between Iraq and Al Qaeda.
"I never thought there would be any evidence linking Sept. 11 and Saddam Hussein," General Clark said. "Everything I had learned about Saddam Hussein told me that he would be the last person Al Qaeda would trust or that he would trust them."
Sorry, Weasley. The backpedalling doesn't work. You're a liar.

The DUmmies are in denial over this. Fuel for major Dean-Clark flame wars.

Well, well, well -- it does make it harder for him to criticize Bush, doesn't it? Nah..
It just shows him for the hypocrite that he is but that's no problem for a RAT.
