Don't count your Anchor Babies until they're hatched Vicente - Rove isn't going to be in the White House forever.

I think everyone should send their medical bills to the Mexican government.

Be patient - my father thought the Soviet Union would destroy the world after Nixon resigned because Ford was weak on defense.

But 7 years later, Reagan became President and the rest is history.

the problem is that what Rove is doing now will change the election demographics in the US forever, Bush may well be the last Republican ever elected, at least with the term "Republican" having any meaning whatsoever.

I say this: long term, we may well have to cede the southwest back to Mexico to maintain any appearance of what the USA was. Just toss Texas, Arizona, NM and the southern half of CA over the wall.

A treaty, is it? How about annexation, all but Chiapas.

He said Mexicans who work in the United States remain proud of their heritage and their nationality, but are compelled by economic necessity to look for employment north of the border

I wouldn't say that Mexicans are proud of their heritage or their nationality, many are ashamed of their national leaders, and know next to "zilch" about their national history. Take it from one that lives here.

Not really, the Amnesty plan doesn't make it any easier for the Illegals to become citizens and it's far from certain that this bill will make it out of Congress.

Anyway, the Hispanic vote won't make a real impact on US elections for at least another decade because 30% of all hispanic population growth will come from Illegal aliens.

If the situation stays unchanged for the next 40 years then we are in trouble - but the future isn't here yet.

Again, don't count your anchor babies until they're hatched...

You think they're not voting? Ask Bob Dornan.

You must not live in a border state. The Demorats have discovered that it is easier to truck illegals to the polls than corpses.

Mexico's president says he can envision a day when immigration controls would be eliminated among the United States, Canada and Mexico. President Vicente Fox's comments follow a proposal by U.S. President George Bush to overhaul U.S. immigration policy.

He Vincente! What about Guatemala?

I don't think this one requires much breakdown.

I give it 4½ Kool Aids

The democrats actually prefer using the old fashioned Black Inner City for most of their voter fraud.

Illegals are concentrated in states that are either solidly democrat or solidly Republican so Using Illegal alien vote fraud isn't their favored method.

"Not really, the Amnesty plan doesn't make it any easier for the Illegals to become citizens"

Oh really. There's a provision in this plan that ends our policy of granting children born here automatic citizenship? I didn't think so.

"and it's far from certain that this bill will make it out of Congress."

Rest assured, this is something that is guaranteed to happen. The democrats know that this bill will amount to importing potential democratic voters and the majority will vote for it. RINOs will realize that this will mean a large source of cheap labor to boost corporate profits. The only opposition will come from principled conservatives in Congress and we will be outnumbered.
