Maybe Fresno's legal counsel advised them to settle out of court, and some liberals with inside info are planning to use it to try to smear GWB by implicating him in it?

Be interesting if you get an offer to settle.

Ok, I thought the liberals were [Kerry word] dumb, but my gawd, that thread makes some of the liberals I know look like intellectual giants.

I'm just wondering when they'll get together to gather contributions to send to the city of Fresno to pay for your 'huge settlement'.

Is Alan Autry the actor that played the deputy on the tv show"HEAT OF THE NIGHT"? Whomever wrote this is using GOP wrong. It is either the republican party or the GOP,not the GOP party. That is like saying the grand old party party. Must be a dumb,I mean dem.

Naw, it's a gas engine. I'll have to check after the game to see if Coachman has an diesel RV with a king-sized bed in the back.

Wow! You're rich! Perhaps now, Bush/Cheney/Powell/Rice/Rumsfeld, can take you up on your constant offers to fly them around for free in the Freeper-Citation!

"NUTS" doesn't even approach the level idiocy that goes on over there:

http://libertypost.org/cgi-bin/listarticles.cgi?114

They'd be growing leaps and bounds to achieve the lofty level of
NUTS!

This piece is almost as good as the Etherzone piece that "exposed" Free Republic's Jim Robinson (that would be me) as being the source of the ANTHRAX letters a couple years ago.

Woo Hoo!!! The GIFT is to see the TRUTH!!

Get out! You were accused of being the source of the anthrax attacks?

We were travelling and I must have missed that little tidbit.

From your link, I see that where TLBSHOW went. Hah. What a come-down in his situation. Sort of like winning the lottery (that would be FR) and ending up on skid row (and that would be the "other" place).

Well, there is some sort of settlement. However, Councilman Brad Castillo was dismissive of the settlement. In the Fresno Bee 1/9/04 he is reported to have said the city (Fresno) is sued often. "It's cheaper to pay these guys $20 and get rid of them than waste an attorney's time on them."

The article goes on: "Neither Doerksen (FR Attorney) nor Castillo would say how much money was involved in the agreement. Further in the article, "Doerksen said the actual court documents wouldn't be signed until today or Monday."
