There are a wholly disconcerting number of so-called "conservatives" on this very board, in fact, for whom the words "suggestion" or "proposal" (apparently) equal the word "law."
This says a good deal more regarding said "conservatives," methinks, than it does about GWB. :)

If he actually had solutions, I'd agree. What he actually has is significant increased spending and government growth. Those are hardly synonymous with solutions.

Oh, we have solutions but he doesn't like them. I propose a high tariff on any good or service entering the country, and the RICO act plus mandatory jailtime for any employer hiring an illegal alien. Add NO public assistance whatsoever and they'll run back across the border where they belong.
