As for the New Times, yeah, its fairly liberal, but they have named many other conservatives as best talkshow host in the past, and they are the only print media in AZ that has the balls to take on the stories that the other newspapers shy away from.

Jeff, the New Times is the only publication in town that has shined the light on what a crook Joe Arpaio is. They are also the ones to bring to light the Fundementalist Mormon bigamists up in Colorado city who are bleeding the taxpayers dry. Guys with 6 wives and 30 kids and getting welfare and foodstamps.

The AZ republic won't take on any topic that they have an interest, they are currently trying to brainwash everyone on how great the 12mph 100 year old technology trolly system called Light Rail is, before that they were mouthpieces for the new stadium tax, the AWA Arena tax, the tax to expand the civic center which loses millions a year, etc. New Times has been blistering against Napolitano and has done some great investigative stuff against Mary Rose Wilcox.
