I used to carry a Gerber lock blade. It was really nice. Serrated edge. Rubberized handle. Was really easy to flick the blade out. Felt good in the hand. Having said that. I really liked the newer Army bayonet. A right pig sticker it is. Big blood groove. Got that wire cutter built into it. You can throw it underhand without it flipping.
Those Gators were great when I was on my ship.
But, I preferred my trusty Myerchin. These bad boys can hold an edge. WEEKS of nice, close shaving!
