The entire point of the *Liberator Pistol* [aka *Flare Projector FP-45*] is that they're not to be used as an exclusive or elite-issue item, but as a mass-issue piece, suitable for carry or use by anyone among a subject population. That several of us have the same thought in mind regarding the poossible future use of the Liberator, or the Sten Gun, or the common 12-gauge shotgun as simplified into the single-shot but concealable Phillipine paliaintod device, suggects that the theory behind the Liberator- and the need for its use- may not quite be over yet.

Archy-paliaintod device? What's that? Years ago I remember seeing a 12g dropped to the guerrillas in the Philippines, essentially two pipes with a stock, drop a shell in the stocked pipe, insert the forward pipe and jerk it back to fire. Is that it?
