Some years ago there was a sign up on the wall at the main airport in Puerto Rico, directing people to the welfare office in Fitchburg, MA., complete with details on what freebees you'd get. But that was when Dukakis was gov. and handing out thousands of social security cards to illegals. Hey, wait a minute. Isn't that exactly what the feds are heading toward? Where did we go wrong???

The details probably included a 'special' list of names of doctor's to see and the forms to take to sign up for all the extra financial assistance available if you can prove some sort of disability.

You are aware of what country Puerto Ricans are citizens of, right?

We have allowed the creation of the Organization of American States (similar to the European Union), ratified NAFTA and are about to ratify FTAA. This ratificaiton will put our Congress at the level of a state government among the socialist and communist countries of the Americas. It will bind us to international law, not our Constitution, and it will bind us to decisions made by the collective of socialist and communist countries of the Americas.

Because our government is participating in the giveaway of our sovereignty, it is a little thing to them to give social security to illegals. In fact, this policy was agreed upon at the Summit of the Americas conference in 1998. You can go there and see policy statements on illegals and social security and illegals and remittances.

At no time do the American people get consulted in any of this, nor Congress. We have a supranational body, the OAS that is actually exercising authority over us in the matter of illegal immigration, and not one of our elected officals is doing anything but agreeing with them.

If you don't believe in the OAS , here is the charter, ratified by our Congress. It is full of socialist speaks, never talks about individual rights,and controlls countries like the federal government controls our states.

CHARTER OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES *

IN THE NAME OF THEIR PEOPLES, THE STATES REPRESENTED AT THE NINTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF AMERICAN STATES,

Convinced that the historic mission of America is to offer to man a land of liberty and a favorable environment for the development of his personality and the realization of his just aspirations;

Conscious that that mission has already inspired numerous agreements, whose essential value lies in the desire of the American peoples to live together in peace and, through their mutual understanding and respect for the sovereignty of each one, to provide for the betterment of all, in independence, in equality and under law;

Convinced that representative democracy is an indispensable condition for the stability, peace and development of the region;

Confident that the true significance of American solidarity and good neighborliness can only mean the consolidation on this continent, within the framework of democratic institutions, of a system of individual liberty and social justice based on respect for the essential rights of man;

Persuaded that their welfare and their contribution to the progress and the civilization of the world will increasingly require intensive continental cooperation;

Resolved to persevere in the noble undertaking that humanity has conferred upon the United Nations, whose principles and purposes they solemnly reaffirm;

Convinced that juridical organization is a necessary condition for security and peace founded on moral order and on justice; and

In accordance with Resolution IX of the Inter-American Conference on Problems of War and Peace, held in Mexico City,

The American States establish by this Charter the international organization that they have developed to achieve an order of peace and justice, to promote their solidarity, to strengthen their collaboration, (**sounds like communism)
