I'm against all welfare leeches in general. The solution to money problems is not to stand in line with hands out, waiting for the government to provide them with ENTITLEMENTS, but to work for a living, more than one job if one has to. If one can't, turn to family and church. But we don't owe them a living.

I agree. But it looks like she turned to the church and the church turned her away.

According to her story, her Catholic friend turned to her Catholic church to get help. Why didn't she go to her own church? Does she have one? What about family? (I suppose she could say she and her husband were orphans to enhance this tearjerker.)

What help did Tancredo's office offer her (or her own congressman, for that matter)?
