I've heard Taylor rumored as a possible party switcher, though it doesn't seem to have worked out. Though Bush runs extremely well in Mississippi, I'm not sure these two congressmen will be shown the door. I'm not aware they're particularly unpopular or if the Republicans plan to run heavily against their voting records.

Taylor's voting record is pretty conservative for a Democrat - about a 70% ACU rating. But I believe Taylor is a loyal Democrat and won't change parties ever. He has endorsed Wesley Clark for President and campaigned with him in Jackson recently.

I know Mike Lott and he is my state Representative (when I'm home and not at college.) I hope he does well. It will be an uphill battle but I wish him the best of luck.
