We'll put it on the calendar - we couldn't commit before as we were due to be out of town but that fell through ... January's a rough scheduling month, but there is no place I would rather be and we will try to make it!!

Ron Jackson (Columnist / Activist)
From www.rijaxn.com/about.html:

About Ron Jackson

Ron Jackson is an author, columnist & motivational speaker who offers empowerment seminars for women & youth organizations as well as an eight-session mentoring program for Youth Advocates.  As an active community organizer & published author, Ron believes in the power of one person to make a difference.  In addition to his books & seminar materials, Ron Jackson has been a regular contributor to The Daily Journal newspaper of Kankakee, Illinois since 1998.  His columns appear in their new Sunday Editorial section entitled Think - which is exactly what he intends for you to do for yourself with his writings.  But just who is Ron Jackson?

Well, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches are his favorite food, & although his ID says he is in his mid-40's, those who know him best say he doesn't act a day over 17.  He considers his stepdad, O.V., a great man who was a major influence in his life & one of the three people Ron would most like to have lunch with besides Jesus Christ & John Gotti.  Teachers, police, nurses & foster parents are the professionals that he admires the most.  And Ron truly believes that you need P.E.P. to navigate the road to success - planning, effort, patience.

Passion - the bridge between probability & reality

Ron Jackson has a B.A. in Business from Columbia College in Columbia, MO, but the majority of his work is derived from his personal experiences.  From a three-year stint in two not-so-pleasant foster homes to his military service as a former Marine to his 18 years in corporate America, he shares his acquired wisdom in order to offer encouragement to young & old alike.

Ron's passion for working with youth earned him a Community Appreciation Award in May 2001 for Youth Mentoring & Volunteering at the Kankakee Community Resource Center in Kankakee, Illinois.  He speaks & writes of the simple things in life - time, work, patience - as well as the more difficult issues such as racism, ignorance, education, relationships & success.

And his horizons are always expanding.  In the summer of 2003, Ron was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Kankakee Public Library and he has recently begun speaking in prisons where his mission is to educate & enlighten while delivering a message of hope.  He has also been a guest for several radio talk shows where he has had the opportunity to share his unique perspective with any number of listeners.  From schools to prisons to corporate functions, Ron Jackson is always open to new opportunities & challenges.  Which do you have to offer?

Motivating the mind leaves the body no choice but to follow

Ron's keynote speeches & seminars are heavy on audience participation & fun.
Ideal for youth to adults, these interactive sessions are sure to inspire
individuals to unlock the millions of possibilities available to them
& make their reality happen.

Tuesday, December 30, 2003 by Mychal Massie -- There was a time in the recent near past that all one needed to do to bilk a church or Christian organization was to say "praise the Lord, the Lord told me ..." or "the Lord has revealed to me ..." Those words, or any combination thereo ...

Geoff Metcalf (Radio Talk Show Host)
From www.geoffmetcalf.com:
Geoff Metcalf calls himself an atypical conservative. His American roots go deep his ancestors settled in New England in the 1600s, and he is a ninth generation commissioned officer in the U.S. Armed Services and a former Green Beret. He is a retired USAR LTC and has commanded a Special Forces Operational Detachment, and a Military Police Company in addition to various staff positions. Metcalf brings his passionate connection to hundreds of years of American evolution to his own revolutionary radio program.

The Geoff Metcalf Show, is on Monday through Friday from 7pm to 10pm (Pacific)/ 10pm-1pm (Eastern) at Talk America.

"I'm more concerned with what's right and wrong on an issue-by-issue basis rather than with who s right or who's wrong," says Metcalf, who actively solicits views and opinions that don't necessarily agree with his own. "I believe that reasonable people can reasonably agree to disagree."

Informing as well as provoking and stimulating his listeners is what gets Metcalf's radio juices going. "I like to make them (the audience) aware of stories they would not normally find in the mainstream media. And I make a concerted effort to deliver up-to-date information on what is, or is not happening in the legislative process."

Chris Ruddy (founder, President of NewsMax) says, "Metcalf is a class act with a talent for exposing stories the mainstreams ignores or runs from. He is also one of the best interviewers in the business."

The former Rhode Islander has an extraordinarily eclectic professional background, with careers in radio, print journalism, advertising and consulting. He began climbing the broadcasting ladder in 1968, starting as a news editor and progressing through a variety of positions including news director, program director, sales manager, general manager and owner of a Massachusetts radio station.

Metcalf is a published author of both fiction (The Terrorist Killers) and non-fiction (In The Arena). He was a columnist for the Sacramento Union and an editorial writer for the Evening Times in Rhode Island.

During 'Operation Iraqi Freeddom' Geoff was a military pundit and appeared on numerous radio and television programs (Fox & Friends, Bob Grant on WOR, Lionel, G. Gordon Liddy, Al Rantel on KABC, Mancow, Al Malmberg, and several Canadian and European stations).

Currently he is a regular weekly columnist for several on line publications including Newsmax.    In addition to his prodigious writing and broadcasting assignments, he is an avid hunter, fisherman, black belt martial artists, literature and jazz buff. He is a recipient of the NRA Defender of Freedom Award, and numerous community awards. Geoff Metcalf has gone from Eagle Scout, to Renaissance man.

Republicans – happy or deluded?
Thursday, January 08, 2004 by Jane Chastain -- This week, the Gallop organization released a poll showing Republicans are much happier than Democrats and Independents. In fact, this poll shows Republicans are happier than they have been in decades. Another poll taken in December by ...

Thursday, December 04, 2003 by Jane Chastain -- Thanksgiving was particularly cold. As I prepared to go to a dinner party, I reached back into an area of my closet for rarely used items and pulled out a silk zipper bag. There was dust on the top, and I realized that it had not been distu ...

Wow you really do a thorough job RonDog. It sounds like a great lineup, I can't wait!! As a member of B.O.N.D. I would like to thank Rev. Peterson for his relentless pursuit of exposing the truth about this un-reverend Jesse Jackson. This is not just a recent thing. He was talking about Jackson and Maxine and the gang way back in '92 when I first found B.O.N.D.. I remember an interview on the radio when the mayor of Compton threatened to throw Jesse Lee Peterson out the window!! I thought that was the most outrageous thing I ever heard of!! A public servant acting that way. But it was just another example of how Rev.Peterson has been treated over the years. He has not given up though and here we are! Please everyone, come out and support Rev. Peterson, or send some support or buy his BOOK-SCAM! (I have just been reading it...I thought I was well informed, but this book lays it all out and I've learned alot!) (And thanks RonDog for your great work!!)

I was researching it last night and I don't like what I read. This stuff is scary. For a moment I thought it was something invented by Kwese Mmmmmmmfumed (or whatever his name is spelled.)

I agree! I was reading Rev. Peterson's book SCAM! the last few days. I thought I was informed, but it is scary! YOU'VE GOT TO GET THIS BOOK!! We've only just begun rooting out the scum that has invaded every nook and cranny of America.

Does anyone know what became of Jesse's "Wall Street Project" where he shook down Merrill Lynch, et.al. to start training homeless people to be traders?

I read in Jesse Lee Peterson's book...

that that shakedown is waining and they are investigating it.
