:-)
Think I am going to have to repost that one. Time for a reprise.

I CANNOT believe that Tom Harkin likens Dean to Harry Truman. A veiled insult. Harken just means that if elected President, Dean will nuke Japan.

It's the strawberries, it's always about the strawberries with Dean.

...or like telling Southerners that "I just want to be the candidate for guys with Confederate flags on their pickup trucks"...and then running like hell from that statement when Revund Je$$e and Revund Al cracked the whip...and then telling us Southerners that we need to quit voting about "race, God, guns, and gays"?
Howard the Duck has managed to find an entirely new part of the country to show total ignorance of! First it was the South, now Iowa, how long before he pisses off the Southwest and the Rockies?

Did you read Clark's quote on the
abortion issue & judgeships?????
He would NEVER nominate as judges
anyone who is pro-life. They are
forever presumed disqualified from
any federal bench, b/c they might
be influenced against Roe v Wade
if it came before them.
How will THAT play down south?

LOL! Just saw it.
"Iowa's been very good to people like me who didn't have no money."
And Bush is the dumb one? ROFLMAO!

Mmmm....I wonder when & what it will take for him to go truly ballistic. Maybe we should start a "When will Howie Blow?" pool. It will happen. Even bubba would have a hard time keeping up with changes in storyline.
Many dems are in the backgound pushing his buttons. bubba & the b!tch despise him. He has "stolen" markers meant for others. [i.e. Gore's support for Lieberman]
I say he just might blow shortly after New Hampshire. If he has a good showing, the dems will be more desperate. If he has a bad showing, he will be more desperate.
Either way, it is a "win-win" for those of us who like a good show.

Was out to dinner the other night with girlfriends - all educated, married, with kids in private school. Five of us - 3 for Dean, 2 for Bush. They are probably votes that Bush never had a chance to get anyway. Have any of them EVER voted for a Republican? What is their beef with Bush? I know a couple of people who are apolitical... They usually vote the way someone tells them to vote. It's really sad. Like the "Babes Against Bush" woman who was on with Sean Hannity recently. She said she didn't want to talk about her views (because she didn't know what the hell she was talking about) ... and then she couldn't even tell Sean who the Vice President was!! They're sheeple I telll ya ..... SHEEPLE!!!!

I know if something similar was said about politics in ny state where I lived for a long time, I wouldn't take it as an affront. You're also not a liberal.

My opinion is probably colored by the fact that I think Dean could have reasonably come to that conclusion about past Iowa caucuses. The truth won't save you come election time.

I don't know when he will blow, I tend to think it will be when he finds out there will be no clear candidate emerging from the Dem primaries...I think the tension will be too much.

Prediction: Before the election season is over, Howard Dean will spontaneously combust. And I predict that before the election season is over, it will be 80º Fahrenheit somewhere in America.

Off-topic, but we just watched "This is Spinal Tap" last night, and it was soooooo funny that so many of their drummers "spontaneously combusted". Oh, that Howie would spontaneously combust from his own fizzing anger. It would serve as a lesson to Democrats everywhere.
