"Americans are overwhelmingly against illegal immigration."
Check the polls yourself--they also show that Americans are overwhelmingly against a policy of deportation of 8 to 12 million people in one fell swoop. So let's talk about a REALISTIC and CONSTRUCTIVE solution to the problem--which is what I believe Arbusto is looking for.
And by the way, I don't hate anybody. The hate is all on your side. It's just that I don't have much respect for people who only offer fear and anger. And I'm as conservative as anybody else in FReeperland, but I'm sorry that on this issue the most vocal members of the 83% give conservatism a bad name.

". . but I'm sorry that on this issue the most vocal members of the 83% give conservatism a bad name." There appears to be more than one flavor of "conservative" floting in the punch bowl these days.
It appears the definition is as elusive and is no longer universally agreed upon.
What is a conservative when it comes to the issue on illegal immigration reform?
