I agree with you.
I watched the first Dem debates for sheet entertainment value alone. I was quite stunned to find Al Sharpton to be the most engaging, charismatic, and intelligent of the bunch. I, too, am being serious.

If he had taken a different path in life, he would have been a playa in the GOP.
