At least after carefully examining the picture, I can certify that it was not digitally manipulated.

Ok, I will check through my 4,000 photo collection of New Zealand.
Do you recommend a particular region first ?

I'd guess it would be the North Isle. I don't know much about the NZ terrain, but do recall seeing similar layouts in TV shows/movies.

Not bad, but I don't think so. The stones seem to be totally absent.

Look at that little rock at the bottom left. What unique rock formations on Mars!

Well I'm thinking camera angles here. Who knows what lies beyond the camera lens. Hey Shaggy! Any place like this in NZ? (click the URL link in the FR title header)

That's very interesting. But I notice something. Kind of in the middle of the picture, there seems to be a series of formations--almost like crop circles, if I didn't know better--extending from the land upward across the river-like body of water. The first one is a little more than a half-circle, then a full circle, then a curved bar. . . .
Are they trying to communicate with us?

looks like a form of crustacean. Maybe there is water!

It is a Little Rock, after all.

The planet's outer crust looks . . . well, old and crusty.
