This article is a good example of how completely the left controls thought and debate in this country. The only way to attack liberals is through their own standards, as if the goal of the opposition was helping them to be better liberals. The main point of this piece, the press is harder on Republicans than liberals, is beyond argument, but jumping on these remarks simply furthers the legitimacy of political correctness. Hillary's joke was lame but racist? Give me a break.

I agree. And for that matter, so does Sean Hannity. He basically claims that to attack her for making a dumb joke is to lower ourselves to the standards that liberals are so famous for using.

As much as I detest this woman and fear the power given to her by liberals, it is obvious to me that she simply made a lame attempt at humor.

But it is fun to see the differences in the way the liberal media elects to ignore this, compared to their attacks on Trent Lott.
